How It Works:

Who: Anybody. If you’ve never been to one before, or can only come occasionally, we're always happy to see you!

What Happens: You show up. You hang out with the cool people and discuss which characters could survive (or cause) various forms of global apocalypse. Snacks and games follow. There's no particular book you’ve got to read, but be ready to share your thoughts on at least ONE book you’ve either finished recently or are currently reading. (You are encouraged to bring along the book you’d like to talk about.) Very occasionally, we may do a movie day instead and show a movie that was based on a book, like ‘Hunger Games’ or ‘Divergent’.

Where: Our front meeting room. Bus 43 makes a stop at the library if you need a ride from school (just make sure to get a note from your parents).

When: Book Club meets once a month during the school year, and weekly during our June and July Summer Reading Program. The current schedule is at top. (Just remember that when school is cancelled, book club is also cancelled.)

If you’d like to get email reminders about book club meetings, just email and we’ll add you to the mailing list.
