Attend Weekly. Your child will become comfortable with the routine and will get to know the other children.

Talk about it. Before you come to each storytime, remind your child of things she/he will be doing and discuss proper storytime behavior. After your visit, talk about the books that were read and the activities he/she participated in.

Arrive early. Your child can visit the restroom, unwind, look at books, and visit with friends. Latecomers are distracting to the other children and to the presenter.

Take a break. If your child becomes restless or is loud, please take a break from storytime then come back during a movement activity or craft so she/he can continue to participate.

Do activities and/or crafts. Read some of the books, look at some DVDs, and do the craft or coloring sheet given to your child at the end of storytime. Display your child's artwork and let your child know that his/her work is "just right" and that what he/she does is important.

Note : Story Time will be held every Wednesday morning at 9:00a.m., unless school is canceled or delayed due to bad weather.
