The Frances Banta Waggoner Community Library hosted a charrette ( an interactive planning/design workshop) September 11-13, where the public was invited to sit down with OPN Architectural firm from Cedar Rapids to design the new library expansion.

Ideas generated by the public, library board and staff were then incorporated into preliminary design drawings, said project manager Bruce Hamous from OPN.

Charrette hours are:  Thursday, September 11, 1 p.m.-5p.m. and 7p.m.- 8p.m.

                                   Friday, September 12, 9a.m.-noon, 1:30p.m.-5p.m. & 7p.m.-8p.m.

                                   Saturday, September 13, 9a.m.-1p.m.

Final presentation was Tuesday, September 16 at 7p.m. in the library's meeting room.
