Need to Print?

-

You can now send your files from any smartphone, computer or tablet, anywhere, and pick up your prints at the library.

How It Works:

You load a file, email, or webpage that you would like to print using the instructions below. When you hit 'Print', a private print code will be sent to you; just bring this code up to the library printer any time within the following 72 hours to retrieve your copies.

It's fast, secure, and you'll never have to wait in line for a computer again!

Instructions:

For files saved on your device (such as pictures, documents, or PDFs):

1. Navigate to this URL online: <www.printeron.net/ricoh/513079>. Please note the prices listed at the top of the page, and keep these in mind as you proceed with your print job.

2. Enter your email address under 'User Info'.

3. Click the 'Browse' button on the far right and select your document. When ready, click the 'Next' button (a white triangle underneath the 'Select Document' field).

4. Select your print options. (Note that 'color' printing is not listed as an option. Typically JPEG pictures saved in color will print in color, but no guarantees can be made.) Click 'Next' when ready.

5. The total number of pages will be displayed. Use this number and the page size selected on the previous page to calculate the expected cost of your print job. When ready, click 'Print' (green button on far right).

6. A private print release code will be sent to the email address you have provided. When you are ready to collect your pages, simply come to the library with this code handy. Hit the 'HotSpot' option on our printer, enter your code in the text field, and tap 'Print' to finish.

For emails:

1. Navigate to the email you would like to print and open it.

2. Select the 'Forward' option, and enter the following recipient email address: <ricoh513079@printspots.com>.

Please note that emails printed using the 'Forward' option will print in their entirety, including all messages in the conversation as well as any additional attachments. If you would like to print only part of an email, consider copying and pasting that selected part into a word document — you could then print using the above instructions for files saved on your device.

3. A private print release code will be emailed back to you shortly. When you are ready to collect your pages, simply come to the library with this code handy. Hit the 'HotSpot' option on our printer, enter your code in the text field, and tap 'Print' to finish.

For webpages:

1. Open the webpage you would like to print.

2. If you are able, it is strongly advised that you look for any PDF download option for the page, save what you need in a screenshot JPEG, or copy and paste selected text into a saved word document. You could then print using the above instructions for files saved on your device. (Note that if you are trying to print a boarding pass, you *must* choose a download option for printing, as these cannot be printed from a URL alone.) This is suggested because formatting varies widely between webpages, so when printing is done directly from a URL, we cannot guarantee that your pages will print correctly nor can we control exactly how many pages will print.

If your webpage cannot be saved in an offline format, select and copy (CTRL + C) the page's URL.

3. Navigate to this URL: <www.printeron.net/ricoh/513079>. Please note the prices listed at the top of the page, and keep these in mind as you proceed with your print job.

4. Enter your email address under 'User Info'.

5. In the 'file or URL' field on the far right, paste the URL you copied (CTRL + V). When ready, click the 'Next' button (a white triangle underneath the 'Select Document' field).

6. Select your print options. (Note that 'color' printing is not listed as an option. Pages printed directly from a URL are typically printed in grayscale, although no guarantees can be made.) Click 'Next' when ready.

7. The total number of pages will be displayed. Use this number and the page size selected on the previous page to calculate the expected cost of your print job. When ready, click 'Print' (green button on far right).

8. A private print release code will be sent to the email address you have provided. When you are ready to collect your pages, simply come to the library with this code handy. Hit the 'HotSpot' option on our printer, enter your code in the text field, and tap 'Print' to finish.
